The Energy and Environment Committee has been active at work to qualify Wakeland as a Green Ribbon School. This is a high honor that a high school can receive for being energy efficient and environmentally friendly. We recycle biweekly and have been brainstorming some new ideas. Currently, we are try to conduct a competitive recycling drive within the school using different objects that can be recycled, but are normally thrown away. Details will be released at a later date.
