Carpool Day
StuCo wants to save energy and gas by promoting a day for Carpooling. We have declared Wednesday, October 9, as CarPool Day. Help us get the word out to save gas, call a friend, and share a ride to school, or work.

Current Events
The Energy and Environment Committee has been active at work to qualify Wakeland as a Green Ribbon School. This is a high honor that a high school can receive for being energy efficient and environmentally friendly. We recycle biweekly and have been brainstorming some new ideas. Currently, we are try to conduct a competitive recycling drive within the school using different objects that can be recycled, but are normally thrown away. Details will be released at a later date.
